Overview

Keeping your project tasks up to date in TeamDynamix (TDX) ensures smooth collaboration and timely progress tracking. Follow these steps to update your assigned tasks using the My Work view:

Accessing My Work

 

  1. Click the App Launcher Icon

    • Locate the App Launcher (grid icon) in the top-left corner of the TDX interface.
  2. Click on My Work

    • From the launcher menu, select My Work to access your personal task dashboard.
  3. Click on My Assignments

    • In the left-hand navigation pane, click My Assignments to view all tasks assigned to you.

 

Note that once you have opened My Work once, it will remain pinned to the top tab bar in TDX for faster access in the future.

 

Updating Tasks

  1. Find the Task to Update

    • Scroll through your list or use the search/filter options to locate the specific task you want to update.
  2. Click the Update Button

    • Once you’ve found the task, click the Update button next to it to open the update form.
  3. Add Your Comment

    • In the comment box, provide a clear and concise update on the task’s progress, any blockers, or next steps.
  4. (Optional) Notify Someone by Email

    • In the Notification box, select a person to notify about your update. This is optional but useful for keeping stakeholders informed.
  5. Click Save

    • After entering your comment and selecting any notifications, click the green Save button to submit your update.
