Logging into the ExamSoft Portal


If you’re having trouble logging into ExamSoft, try the following steps:
 

1. Use a supported browser.

Make sure you are using Chrome or Firefox. Other browsers may not work reliably with ExamSoft.
 

2. Clear your browser cache and cookies.

Be sure to select “Cookies and site data” when clearing your cache.

3. Use the correct login URL

Make sure you are going to the correct login URL for the new ExamSoft version: https://ui.examsoft.io/login?institutioncode=pitths  

Alternatively, you can also go directly to examsoft.com and click Student/Exam Taker in the upper menu.

  • When prompted for the institution, type pitths.
  • Select University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences from the dropdown and click Continue.
  • Under User Portal, click Login.

4. Update your browser security settings

Chrome: Allow Third Party Cookies

Firefox: Disable Enhanced Tracking Protection

 

Clearing Previous ExamSoft Registrations in Examplify

If you’ve previously used another version of ExamSoft, you must clear your current Examplify registration and re-register under the new University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences version. 

Follow these steps to clear it:

1. Launch Examplify on any device(s) you use to take exams.

2. Click the Home Menu in the top left corner, then go to Settings.

 

 

3. Select Clear Registration.

 

 

4. Re-launch Examplify. When prompted, search for pitths in the institution search bar and choose University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences.

 

 

5. You will be prompted to sign in with your Pitt credentials.

6. After logging in, confirm that the top menu now shows University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences.
