Login Error using the Safari Browser on a Mac

Login Error with the Safari Browser:  

Issue presented: 

User is attempting to login to Examsoft using the Safari browser on a Mac computer and received an error message “login option not available. Please try another one.” Or "Exception Migrating User in app"  

Diagnostics and Reasons for Issue: 

The user sees this message:

Solution:

Turn off the Prevent cross-tracking in the Safari Settings. 

  1. Open Safari. 

  1. Either go to the Safari menu in the top-left corner of your screen and click Settings or press "⌘ + ," (the command key and the comma key) on your keyboard. 

  1. First, click on the Privacy tab in the center-top of the setting window.  

  1. Then uncheck "Prevent cross-tracking". 

  1. Close the settings and then restart Safari.   

  1. Then try to login to https://ui.examsoft.io/login?institutioncode=pitths using your Pitt SSO.
