Liberty Node/Service uninstallation Steps

These steps are to be run on the Liberty server, Not the Liberty front End server.  For example, run on Volcano, Not VolcanoFE

 

  1. Liberty Server Node removal/deletion (NOTE run from admin command prompt)
    1. E:\IBM\WebSphere\Liberty\bin\server unregisterWinService LibertyREACT - (replace the service name with the one you are retiring/deleting) - This removes the windows service.
    2. Navigate to the location where all servers/applications are installed (E:\IBM\WebSphere\Liberty\usr\servers) and move the folder for the application to the "Archive" folder.
