How to Install App
1. Navigate to portal-palo.pitt.edu
4. Navigate to File Explorer
5. Select "Downloads" - Double Click on the GlobalProtect64
6. Select Next until the install is complete
7. On the lower right-hand corner select the Globe
8. Enter "portal-palo.pitt.edu" in the window
9. Select "Connect"
10. Enter your PITT username and password
11. Select "Connect"
12. Once connected, should automatically connect upon logging onto the computer
5 Common Issues and How to Fix
1. Global Protect gives the error, " The virtual adapter was not set up correctly due to a delay. Global Protect will trya gain soon. If the issue persists, try restarting your system." and then persists after a restart.
-Run wmimgmt.msc using Win+R and if you see the errors “Win_32Processor: WMI: Invalid class” and “Win32_WMISetting: WMI: Invalid class” run the below .bat file on their computer and it should fix the issue.
