4th Floor Instructions

Press the power button on the touch panel on at the podium.

Select PC on the touch panel and login to the computer with your Pitt credentials.

Start and join the meeting on both the room computer and the laptop and share the presentation through zoom from your laptop.

NOTE: This will allow the room to be for the cameras, microphone, and speakers and your laptop to just be for the presentation so you can mute the volume and turn off the camera and mic on the laptop to ensure there is no echo.

When the room restarts it mutes the microphone on the touch panel so make sure you go into the Audio Control on the touchpad and make sure the microphone is unmuted.

NOTE: The microphone in the room is also toggle to talk. If the mic has no light the mic is not listening, and if the light is on then the mic is listening. Make sure the light is on.

On the touchpad the Camera Control options are from the viewpoint of the presenter looking into the room, front camera will be the one at the door to enter the classroom and the rear camera will be the one by the whiteboards.

The Confidence monitor on the back wall of the room should be on and displaying the room PC but if it is not, you can change it from the Display Control option

Double check that the camera and mic are on, and that sound is playing through the speakers in the room.

In Zoom the settings for audio should be default with Speakerphone for the microphone, Extron HDMI for the Speaker and AV Bridge Mini for the camera.

After the meeting log out and power off the room with the touch panel
