uniFLOW Default Options on Mac

Overview

This article explains the steps on how to set the default print settings to black & white for uniFLOW on macOS.

Note: This code may also work: /usr/sbin/lpadmin -p PittSecurePrint -o ColorModel=Gray

Instructions

1. Open Terminal > Type the following: cupsctl WebInterface=yes

2. Open web page to: http://localhost:631/printers

3. Select “PittSecurePrint”

4. Select “Set Default Options” from Administrator drop down menu

5. Select “Grayscale” from the Color Mode drop down menu

6. Then “Set Default Options” at the bottom of page

7. You will be prompted for a password, Use your computer sign in ID/Password.

8. Your Print dialog menu may look different depending on the Application you have opened.
