Cleaning the Scanner

  • Optium Wipes are the only approved way to disinfect the scanner (Optium Wipes are hydrogen peroxide based. Caviwipes are acetone).

Cleaning the Tips

 

  • Tips can be autoclaved or cold sterilized.

  • After wiping with Optium wipe and then alcohol. Can also use soap and water.

  • Cover mirror with white paper towel, autoclave for full cycle (cannot remove early or it will cause spotting on the mirror).
