Health Services Research Data Center (HSRDC)

The Health Services Research Data Center’s Data Management team provides tools and support to help investigators efficiently access and use Electronic Health Record (EHR) data for research.

Requests for EHR data can be submitted using the link on the right. This form is intended for Principal Investigators (PIs) and research teams seeking access to EHR data.

What Researchers Can Do with This Form

Use this form to submit requests for EHR data to support:

· Research planning and study design

· Participant cohort identification and recruitment

· Feasibility analysis

· Data extraction for approved studies

 

Tips for a Strong Request

· Specify number of patients or visits

· Define timeframe and longitudinal depth

· List required data elements and columns

· Indicate need for NLP or high frequency data

· Clarify if you are a HSRDC user
