MP54/MP56/MP58 Troubleshooting

 

Yaelink MP54 phones have been having issues and not functioning correctly. Follow these instructions if they need to be reset or updated.

Start off by reseting the phone. You can do this by pressing the * and # buttons together and holding them for at least 10 seconds. If this doesn’t work follow the next steps.

 

Download these MP54 Files and place them on a usb stick unplug the phone and plug the usb into the port pictured below

NOTE: If needed for a MP56 or MP58 just rename the MP54 files to your phone version

 

Plug the phone back in while holding the speakerphone button and wait for a blue screen to appear

 

You will have 2 options. Press 2 to boot the phone from the usb

 

The phone will now take some time and update. once the firmware is fully updated the user will need to sign back into the phone.
