Adding a Course Description, Directors Message, and Course Resources to the Course Setup Page

Adding a Course Description and/or Director Message to your Course Setup Page

1. Navigate and log in to Elentra.

2. Click the Courses menu option.

3. Change the display style from Learner View to Administrator, Director, or Coordinator View.

4. Find your course in the list of courses, and click on the course link.

    a. This will take you to the Course Setup page.

5. Click the Content tab.

6. Scroll down to the Course Description section to add a course description to your course setup page.

7. Scroll down to the Director's Message section if you would like to add a director's message. 

   a. Both of these will be visible to users on the Elentra course page or course community website.

8. Click the Save button.

Adding Course Resources to the Course Setup Page

***Adding Content such as documents or images to the course setup page is only available if you DO NOT have a course community created for your course.  If you have a course community associated with your course, the content added through your course setup page will NOT display.  If you are unsure if you have a course community associated with your course, please reach out to us through the HSIT Help Desk. ***

1. Navigate and log in to Elentra.

4. Find your course in the list of courses, and click on the course link.

5. Click the Content tab.

6. Scroll down to the Course Resource section.

7. To add a file, Click the Add a File
