The Control X software may be installed onto as many computers as needed. But only one of the users will be the 'Active' user. Other users will still be able to utilize their Control X license, but as a Viewer-only.
To switch users -
In order to switch users, the Active user needs to 'Deactivate' their license and one of the other users needs to 'Activate' their license.
To Deactivate, the current, Active user should run the Geomagic License Manager from the Windows' Start menu and follow the prompts to deactivate their license.
Then, anyone else with the Control X license installed may Activate their license and they will then become the 'Active' user.
The task of deactivating and activating requires an Internet connection for both users and the process to deactivate or activate takes just seconds.
Note that any brand-new users of Control X will need the License Key in order to Activate. If you do not have the License Key handy, the person who Deactivates will be able to capture it from the Geomagic License Manager. It will either be a 16 or 20-character, alpha-numeric license key (CASE-Sensitive).
