Creating a Log Entry in the Elentra Logbook

Overview

The Elentra logbook allows you to track observations and experiences. You can reference all entries you've made and your course administrators can check on your progress.

 

Detail

1. Click the Access My Elentra icon, and click Logbook.
    a. This will take you to a page where you can check your progress in any course that has a logbook.

2. Click +Log Entry.

3. Fill out the Log Entry form, including date, time, course, and patient age. The patient gender field is optional.

4. Enter the activities, experiences, diagnoses, and/or procedures you wish to log as clinical tasks. Once a clinical task is selected in the form, additional information may need to be provided. You may be asked to enter your role in the encounter, the setting, notes, reflections, an observer, and the amount of time spent.
    a. You can add multiple clinical tasks to an entry.
         i. For each clinical task entered, you will need to complete the additional information.

5. Click Save.
    a. You will get a notice stating that your entry was logged successfully.
