Overview

This article explains how faculty can locate their PeopleSoft ID. It assumes that the faculty member's department has already added them to PeopleSoft as an instructor, granting them the necessary access.

Using PeopleSoft Student Information System

  1. Log into myPitt
  2. Select the PeopleSoft Student Information System Task to access PeopleSoft
  3. Click Classic Home
  4. From the drop-down menu in the upper left, go to Main Menu > Self Service > Campus Personal Information > Demographic Information
  5. Your PeopleSoft ID will be shown on the Personal Information Tab under Demographic Information as ID

Using PeopleSoft/HighPoint CX

  1. Log into myPitt
  2. Select the PeopleSoft/HighPoint CX Task to access PeopleSoft/HighPoint CX
  3. On the left menu, choose My Profile > General Information
  4. Your PeopleSoft ID will be displayed in the General section as Student ID

Unable to Access the PeopleSoft Faculty Center
Faculty do not automatically get access to PeopleSoft (Faculty Center, Class Roster, Grade Roster). The Faculty members User Profile will not be created until their department adds their PeopleSoft ID to the Instructor/Advisor Table in PeopleSoft.
