Optium Wipes are the only approved way to disinfect the scanner (Optium Wipes are hydrogen peroxide based. Caviwipes are acetone).
Tips can be autoclaved or cold sterilized.
After wiping with Optium wipe and then alcohol. Can also use soap and water.
Cover mirror with white paper towel, autoclave for full cycle (cannot remove early or it will cause spotting on the mirror).
