Fiscal Panther Hub Overview

The Fiscal Panther Hub is a set of dashboards that gives University administrators a single place to view all financial data, including transaction-level details.

Data from multiple systems, including Grants Forecasting and Operating Funds Forecasting, is exported to Fiscal Panther every evening. This lets users reconcile current transactions and view current and projected financial balances.

Getting Access

Follow these instructions to submit a General Ledger Mart User request.

Note: To view labor distribution information, you must request a group with Payroll access.

Data Timing

Data is as near-time as possible, but timing depends on the source systems and has many dependencies. For specifics, see the Understanding Data Timing document.

Available Dashboards

Dashboard	Description
Entity 02/03 Operating	Overviews by department and RC, including transaction-specific details for entities 02 and 03
Grants Administration Hub	Multiple sponsored project views (see below)
Purpose Based	Overview by department and RC for GL accounts using the Purpose segment, including transaction-specific details
Monthly Statements	Month-end snapshots of account information, with an option to show encumbrances
Transaction Review	Detailed transaction information for all GL accounts; can be used to reconcile monthly transactions and match levels
Actual and Projected Labor	Labor expenses by account and employee, including SPAR and TEAM data and projections
Purchase Order Review	Overview of approved purchase orders by department, including calculated encumbrances
Concur Unreconciled	Views of unreconciled OneCard transactions

Department and Investigator Overviews	Overviews by department and PI for sponsored projects, including transaction-specific details
Master Account Profile	Overview by billing ID and subaccounts
Grants by End Date	Find grants ending in 30, 60, or 90 days to review current balances; filter by department and PI
Direct and Indirect Expenditures	Summaries and project breakdowns of direct and indirect cost expenses
Expense Trending	Graphical views of fiscal year expenses by agency and expense type
