Overview
When attempting to log in to LabArchives, especially if you've used it before joining Pitt, some users experience an error that their password is incorrect. If this happens, and your Pitt password works for logging into any other Pitt Passport SSO website, you should follow the below steps to reset the password on the LabArchives account. Once reset and logged in with the updated password, you may be prompted to connect your account to Pitt Passport SSO.

To reset your LabArchives password (not your Pitt password):
1. Contact support@labarchives.com from your Pitt email address and request a link to create a temporary password
2. Follow that link and copy the password provided
3. Go to https://mynotebook.labarchives.com/
Select "University of Pittsburgh" on the dropdown list and login with your Pitt Passport credentials
4. When brought to the "LabArchives Login page" In the fields under Link an existing LabArchives account, enter the email address and the password from step 1
5. Click Link Existing Account.
6. From now on, your account is connected to the Pitt Passport Single Sign-On. Once you enter these credentials you will be brought right into your account.
