uniFLOW Smart Client Troubleshooting Guide

Initial Check

Setup Verification

Steps:

  • Verify Installation:
    • Confirm that the uniFLOW Smart Client is installed correctly.
    • Check the version number by opening the application and navigating to the "About" section or similar.
    • Compare the installed version with the latest available version on the official uniFLOW website.

Restart the Computer

Steps:

  • Restart the Device:
    • A simple restart can often resolve minor issues.
    • After restarting, attempt to use the uniFLOW Smart Client to see if the problem persists.

Reinstall uniFLOW Smart Client

Steps:

  • Uninstall and Reinstall:
    • For Windows: Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program, select uniFLOW Smart Client, and click "Uninstall."
    • For Mac: Open Finder > Applications, locate uniFLOW Smart Client, and drag it to the Trash. Empty the Trash.
    • Download the latest version from the official uniFLOW website.
    • Install the downloaded version and restart the computer.
    • Test the application again.

Check Startup Settings

Steps:

  • For Mac:
    • Open System Preferences.
    • Go to Users & Groups > Login Items.
    • Ensure uniFLOW Smart Client is listed and checked.
  • For Windows:
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
    • Navigate to the Startup tab.
    • Ensure uniFLOW Smart Client is enabled.

Steps:
