Pitt Information Technology provides the option to departments with enterprise systems to host their servers at the Network Operations Center (NOC). The NOC is a state-of-the-art technical facility that is staffed 24/7.
As part of this service, we also provide assistance with maintaining the server hardware, operating system, and application software. Currently there are more than 50 departmental servers located at the NOC, including InfoEd, Resource25, RMS, Ticket Return, Webridge, and others.
