Overview
In fall 2021, Pitt Information Technology launched a project to deploy TeamDynamix (TDX) as its new project portfolio management (PPM) forecasting and management tool.
After a thorough review, TeamDynamix was chosen as the PPM product suited to our needs to manage projects, project tasks, and understand the complete picture of involvement in project-related activities. The product will also be leveraged for its ability to track time associated with both project and non-project activities. Adoption of TDX ties in with Pitt IT’s strategic plan.
Detail
TeamDynamix is so much more than just a project management tool. The product embraces a transparent “right projects at the right time with the right resources” approach. TDX enables Pitt IT to select opportunities, prioritize, balance demand with capacity, then schedule and execute projects.
The entire implementation process is expected to take a few months to complete and project activity will follow this general timeline:
- Rolling implementations (demonstrations/training/migrations) – beginning December 2021
- Full adoption/implementation – March 2022
