Overview
In fall 2021, Pitt Information Technology launched a project to deploy TeamDynamix (TDX) as its new project portfolio management (PPM) forecasting and management tool.
After a thorough review, TeamDynamix was selected as the PPM solution best suited to meet our needs for managing projects, tracking project tasks, and gaining a comprehensive view of project-related involvement and activities. The platform also supports time tracking for both project and non-project activities. The adoption of TDX aligns with Pitt IT's strategic goals for operational excellence and resource optimization.
Detail
TeamDynamix is more than just a project management tool—it supports a transparent, strategic approach focused on executing the right projects at the right time with the right resources. With TDX, Pitt IT is better equipped to evaluate opportunities, prioritize work, balance demand with available capacity, and successfully deliver projects.
The implementation of TDX began in December 2021 and continued through early 2022. Since March 2022, TDX has been fully adopted across Pitt IT for managing project intake, planning, execution, and reporting.
