Accepting the University’s Financial Responsibility Agreement with Pitt Passport

Overview

If you’ve self-enrolled in classes at Pitt through the Student Information System (PeopleSoft), then you’ve seen the University’s Financial Responsibility Agreement (FRA). The goal of the FRA is to help students understand and acknowledge their financial responsibilities associated with enrollment at Pitt.

Beginning in October 2019, the same FRA that you’re accustomed to seeing when you self-enroll  in PeopleSoft will now display when you log in to Pitt Passport, the web page that you use to access most University services. Not all students self-enroll, so moving the FRA to Pitt Passport ensures that all students are informed of their financial responsibilities and have an opportunity to review and sign it.

You will be presented with the FRA in Pitt Passport twice per academic year: once in early October, and again in early March. After you accept it, a copy of the FRA will be sent to your University email address for your records.
