Are you looking to block those robocalls that keep dialing your Teams number? You can load up the Teams desktop, mobile, or browser app and follow the below instructions to block the numbers.
Note: this isn't a sure-fire SPAM call prevention, lots of times the companies making these calls rotate through many different numbers, or sometimes spoof numbers entirely (mask their real number with a fake caller ID number). You can block calls from your Teams App. Here is how:
- Select the Calls tab to view your recent call log.
- Find the number you wish to block and click to open the more options (...)
- Select Block from the context menu
- The number will now have BLOCKED next to it.
- To review all blocked callers, open the Teams more options menu in the top right corner and select Settings.
- In the Settings pop-up window, select Privacy, then Edit blocked contacts.
- Please note: you can also enable the Block calls with no caller ID setting, which should eliminate some spam calls.
- This page allows you to review all the blocked numbers and unblock any that were done in error. Close the window or go Back to settings when finished.
