Overview
You can manually archive a recording using Lecture Capture (Panopto). You must be a creator to use this feature.
When a recording is archived, the permissions are also stored. Viewer access to archived recordings is permission based and requires authentication.
Detail
To archive single recordings:
- Visit Lecture Capture (Panopto) via My Pitt.
- Hover over the recording you want to archive, then select Settings.

- From the left-hand navigation, Select Manage, scroll down to Archive video, then scroll down and select Archive.

- A pop-up window displays a hosted.panopto.com message. Select OK to confirm your archive decision.
Note: This may appear differently, depending on your browser.
- The recording is sent to the Archive.
