Accessing TeamDynamix Project Management Reference Guides

Overview

 

TeamDynamix (TDX) is the project management tool utilized by Pitt IT and other groups within the University. Pitt IT uses TDX to complete:

  • Project Proposal Intake
  • Project Selection
  • Capacity Planning
  • Project Management
  • Portfolio Management

Other groups or departments within the University will only leverage Project Management in TDX. 

Background

TDX was launched in April 2022 for Pitt IT.  At launch, interactive training modules were created in the Learning Management System as well as reference guides created in SharePoint.  These guides are meant to assist with using TDX as a project management tool and created per role:

  • Project Requestors
  • Portfolio Managers
  • Resource Managers
  • Project Managers
  • Project Team Members
  • People Managers
  • Business and IT Sponsor

Additionally, there is a section for Tracking Time and a section for Tips and Tricks created by frequent TDX users.
