Overview
The SecureU community guides faculty and staff through the process of securing their computers and the information stored on them. It is also provides software tools, at no cost, to help individual faculty and staff, as well as departmental IT staff. The community includes antivirus and anti-spyware software, software tools for discovering and removing sensitive information, laptop recovery software, encryption software, and more.

This software is available at no cost to all members of the University through the Software Download Service via My Pitt (my.pitt.edu).
Students cannot acquire this software through Pitt Information Technology, and it's not available in the Student Computing Labs.
