Summary

Overview of Pitt IT scheduled maintenance

Body

Overview

The University of Pittsburgh community depends upon the stability and reliability of the University's network, systems, and services.

In order to maintain our services, the University has a downtime period that takes place weekly, from 11:00 p.m. on Saturday to 7:00 a.m. on Sunday. During the downtime period, University services and systems that have been scheduled for maintenance may be inaccessible. The maintenance work is necessary to ensure the continued reliability and stability of our services.
