Enterprise Device Management is a free service available to Faculty and Staff to assist with the management of endpoints. Services include imaging, patch management, software deployment, remote support software, and Mobile Device Management. Supported operating systems include Windows, MacOS, iPadOS, iPhoneOS, and ChromeOS.

Key Features

  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) (previously SCCM): Microsoft tool for deploying software packages, imaging, and reporting on Windows devices.
  • JAMF Pro: Cloud-facing third-party solution for Apple Devices to deploy software packages, configure devices, and perform remote commands (wipe, lock, etc.). Allows end users to have a base machine without IT staff physically touching the device. Supports MacOS, iPadOS, and iPhoneOS.
  • InTune: Cloud-facing Microsoft product to deploy software packages, configure devices, and perform remote commands (wipe, lock, etc.). Allows end users to have a base machine without IT staff physically touching the Windows device.
  • BeyondTrust Secure Remote Support: Support tool for making quick and secure connections with remote machines located anywhere with internet connectivity.
