Overview
This article describes how to transfer a call without consulting in Microsoft Teams.

A standard incoming call will appear as pictured on the left. Incoming calls to a person you are answering on behalf of will display a purple bar above the call notification, as pictured on the right.
1. Click the phone icon to answer the call.
2. Click the ellipsis icon (...) in your call controls and select Transfer.
3. Start typing the name of the person to whom you want to transfer the call and select them when they appear.
4. To finish, press Transfer again.
The call will end for you and the recipient will receive an incoming call in Teams. Teams will say the call was transferred from you.
