This article walks you through getting started with Lecture Capture (Panopto) Recorder on a Windows-based computer.

 

Detail

Logging in

  1. Run the Lecture Capture (Panopto) Recorder from Start > Programs > Panopto > Panopto Recorder.

  2. Ensure that you are logging into pitt.hosted.panopto.com and select Sign In
    Note: Lecture Capture (Panopto) uses the Pitt Passport single sign-on service for multifactor authentication.

  3. Panopto will prompt you to continue to SSO in your default supported browser.  

  5. Click Create New Recording.

    Note: You can change the default recording configuration>
