Fusion provides ZoomText®, with its screen magnification and visual enhancements for screen viewing ease, coupled with the power and speed of JAWS® for screen reading functionality. By blending ZoomText and JAWS together, Fusion has flexible, high-quality speech using Eloquence and Vocalizer Expressive, powerful keyboard access including navigation on the web, and a wide range of customization options. Fusion is the perfect solution for schools, agencies, training centers, and businesses where individuals with vision loss are served. A single installer and one license gives access to both ZoomText and JAWS individually, or together when run as the combined solution – Fusion.

Purchase
- University Departments: Fusion can be purchased through the Pitt Digital Software Store in Panther Express at a cost of $170 per user per year. Access is granted to users specified at the time of purchase.
- Faculty, Staff, and Students: The software is available at no cost for personally-owned devices through the University of Pittsburgh at software.pitt.edu.
Updating a Fusion License
To update the Fusion license, follow these steps:

Install the New Version: Begin by downloading and installing the latest version of Fusion. This ensures you have the most up-to-date features and compatibility.

Copy the New LIC File: Place the new license file (.LIC) under the "ProgramData\Freedom Scientific\Auth" directory on your system. Ensure you have the appropriate permissions to perform this action.

Uninstall the Old Version: After successfully updating the license, uninstall the previous version of Fusion to prevent any conflicts or redundancy in your system.
