Overview
All Zoom Marketplace apps require approval from the Zoom administrator before they can be added to a Zoom account. Some apps are already approved for any Pitt Zoom user. Most apps require administrator approval before use.

Approved Apps
Some apps are pre-approved and automatically added to Pitt Zoom accounts. Some apps are critical for other services at Pitt to function properly in Zoom and cannot be removed. Details regarding installed apps can be found here.
Pre-approved apps that are not automatically added will prompt to Add the app to your Pitt Zoom account.
Please note that certain marketplace apps require an additional license purchase for the services the app provides.
Unapproved Apps
When attempting to add an unapproved Zoom Marketplace app to an account, you will be presented with a Request to Add option.
These requests are not monitored by Pitt IT, as most Zoom Marketplace apps are not approved for use with Pitt Zoom. All marketplace apps require a Vendor Security Risk Assessment that the requesting user must submit to Pitt IT Security. Requesters must include in the assessment form that they desire to use the app in the Zoom Marketplace. If approved, the app will be enabled for the requester only (if specified, other specific users may be included as well).
