Overview
PeopleSoft/HighPoint Campus Experience (CX) provides a secure, web-based interface for student, faculty and advisor self-service functions of the Student Information System (PeopleSoft). It allows students to access class information, academics, financials, and manage enrollment and contact information. Faculty can access their teaching schedule, class, and grade rosters. Advisors can view advisees' information. CX is mobile friendly, works on most devices, and can be quickly accessed via its myPitt Task.
Pitt CX Mobile provides the same functionality as PeopleSoft/Highpoint Campus Experience (CX) through iOS and Android apps.

Student Menu
The Student Dashboard of CX contains multiple widgets and has General, Academics, and Financials tabs.
Class Information
Contains the course catalog and class search.
- Course Catalog: Displays the university’s course catalog and allows student to create custom filters to find classes more easily. Students can add courses to their planner, shopping cart, and even enroll from the course catalog.
- Class Search: Provides a myriad of dropdown fields and enter text fields to refine a search criteria to view classes. Show Open Classes Only is checked by default.
- Schedule: Displays the student’s class schedule in list view and calendar view, allows the visibility of the time period displayed (day, week, month) to be changed, lets the information that displays on the schedule be adjusted, provides the ability to print the schedule, or export it to an email system such as Outlook.
Enrollment
Contains Planner, Shopping Cart, Edit Enrollment, Drop Classes, View Wait List, Enrollment Dates, Swap Classes, and Schedule Builder. For more information about enrollment visit the Office of the Registrar.
- Planner: Provides ability for students to add and delete courses to create a class schedule prior to enrollment.
- Shopping Cart: Provides students with a list of courses they added with the intention of enrolling. It functions as a confirmation page before they enroll.
- Edit Enrollment: Provides students with the ability to can edit their enrollment to the courses they registered for already. The editable options are very limited.
- Drop Classes: Students can drop classes when applicable from this section.
- View Wait List: Students can view a class wait list from this section.
- Enrollment Dates: Displays when enrollment appointments are open for specific terms. Students can click on specific terms to get more detailed information.
- Swap Classes: Students can swap classes from course search, planner, shopping cart, and class number from this section.
- Schedule Builder: Provides students the ability to create multiple schedules multiple ways. For more information on how to use Schedule Builder, reference our PDF guide.
Academics
Contains Programs, Test Scores, Degree Progress, What-If, Degree Planner, Course List, View Unofficial Transcript, Grades, Advisor Information, and Transfer Credit.
- Programs: Allows students to view the active programs they are currently pursuing along with their admit term, expected grad term, and status.
- Test Scores: Displays the various placement tests (SAT, ACT, Math Placement, etc.) and the student’s scores to those placement tests.
- Degree Progress: Displays numerous, relevant pieces of information towards the completion of a degree. Can be viewed as a PDF if desired.
- What-If: Students can use this component to set up and generate a what-if advisement report based on alternate programs of study. This should be used if a student is thinking of changing their program of study and want to know how it would affect their progress.
- Degree Planner: Gives students the option to map out what courses they should take year-by-year and term-by-term in order to view their path to obtain a degree.
- Course List: Students can view their course list which consists of classes in progress, taken, and planned.
- View Unofficial Transcript: Displays all relevant information associated with an unofficial transcript. Can be viewed as a PDF is desired.
- Grades: Lists past and present course grades.
- Advisor Information: Provides student’s advisor information.
- Transfer Credit: Displays courses associated with transfer credits.
Financials
Contains PittPAY, View Financial Aid, Accept/Decline Awards, and Loans.
- PittPAY: The university’s online billing and payment system.
- View Financial Award: Displays student’s financial award information.
- Accept/Decline Awards: Displays financial awards that are new, accepted, and declined.
- Loans: Contains a loan list that displays the type of loan and amount. A repayment calculator is available as well.
Admissions
Contains Admission Status and Accept/Decline Admissions.
My Information
Contains To-Do's and Holds.
- To-Do's: Provides a list of important student business items that need action.
- Holds: Displays any academic or financial holds.
My Profile
Contains General Information, Biographical Information, Contact Info, and Emergency Contacts.
- General Information: Displays preferred name, student ID number, campus ID number, and programs.
- Biographical Information: Displays primary name, preferred pronouns, birth country, birth state, gender identity, and ethnicity.
- Contact Info: Displays addresses, phone numbers, and emails.
- Emergency Contacts: Displays emergency contacts information.

Provides the ability to lookup a student via their first name, last name, and/or ID.

Pitt CX Mobile
In addition to accessing PeopleSoft/HighPoint Campus Experience via its myPitt Task, you can install the Pitt CX Mobile iOS or Android app or access it via Pitt Mobile.
Using the Pitt CX Mobile App
Install the App
- Use the Download links to the right to get the Pitt CX Mobile app from the Pitt App Center, the Apple App Store, or Google Play.
Note: The Pitt App Center uses multifactor authentication through Pitt Passport. If you install the app from Apple or Google, you may need to use your mobile device's account information to authenticate.
- Tap Accept to any terms and conditions.
- When the app launches, tap Login, then login to your account using multifactor authentication through Pitt Passport.
Launch the App
- Locate and tap the Pitt CX Mobile app on your iOS or Android Device.
- Tap Login.
- Login to your account using multifactor authentication through Pitt Passport.
