Overview

Microsoft Learn for Educators enables Pitt faculty to supplement their courses with online learning paths and instructor-led training materials from Microsoft. Faculty can access ready-to-teach curriculum, teaching materials, and pre-built labs aligned to industry-recognized Microsoft Certifications for Azure ― Microsoft’s cloud computing platform ― as well as other tool. Students can also pursue optional certifications to augment their existing degree path and validate the skills needed to be successful across various technical careers.

Get Started

  1. Visit the Microsoft Learn for Educators webpage and click Sign Up at the top of the page. 
  2. Click Individual Educator
  3. Follow the steps to create a Microsoft Learn profile. Note that you will need both a Pitt email address and a personal email address to complete this process. 
  4. Go to the Microsoft Learn for Educators portal to complete the sign up process. Note that you must sign in to the portal with your Microsoft account, not your Pitt account.  
  5. Explore the Skillable instruction modules to discovery everything you can do with Microsoft Learn. 
  • Note: Once you have set up your class in Microsoft Learn, your students can access it using their Pitt credentials.
