Overview
Users who have permission can download Lecture Capture (Panopto) video recordings. By default this feature is usually restricted to video creators.
There are two ways to download recordings from Panopto:
From the Interactive Player
- Visit Lecture Capture (Panopto) via My Pitt.
- In the upper right-hand corner, click the Download icon (which looks like an underlined, downwards pointing arrow).
- The recording download starts.
- Locate the recording in the default download location
From the Embedded Player
- Visit a website that contains a Panopto video recording.
- In the lower right-hand corner of the screen, select the Download icon (which looks like an underlined, downwards pointing arrow).
- The recording download starts.
- Locate the recording in the default download location.
