Unable to Approve Grade Roster "All students in the Grade Roster must be graded."

Issue

This article provides information on causes and possible solutions for Faculty and/or class instructors not being able to approve a Grade Roster for a class, encountering “All students in the Grade Roster must be graded (14670,6). All students in the Grade Roster must be graded before it can be approved.

Resolution

Upon Approving Grade Roster, getting message “All students in the Grade Roster must be graded (14670,6). All students in the Grade Roster must be graded before it can be approved.

Possible Cause: One or more students on the Grade Roster do not have a Roster Grade entered. It's possible you only entered a Roster Grade for the first 20 students, but there are more than 20 students on the Grade Roster.

Resolution for Cause: Check that all students on the Grade Roster have a grade entered in the Roster Grade column, excluding any students that already have a grade in the Official Grade column. Note that the Grade Roster only lists 20 students at a time by default. If there are more than 20 students on the Grade Roster, you must use the pagination controls and select View All, or to scroll to the next page of students.
