Overview

Microsoft 365 is a subscription service for Pitt students, faculty, and staff to access Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Forms, and many more. It has the advantage of 5 TB of cloud-based storage and automatic updates, so you can access your files from virtually any location with an internet connection and use multiple devices such as PCs, Macs, and tablets.

You can work in Microsoft 365 online from a web browser, or download the apps on up to five devices. (Just log into the Microsoft 365 portal and click on "Install apps" in the upper right corner, just below your profile image.) You can also download the Microsoft mobile apps from the Pitt App Center for use on your phone or tablet.
