Pitt IDs Usable with uniFLOW

Prior to using your Pitt ID badge with uniFLOW, please check that the card will have tap availability.

  • Have your card replaced if the back has a string of numbers in the top left corner and 2 additional sets on the top right corner. An example is as follows:
  • If you card doesn't tap, but the back of the card includes the following in the bottom left corner, please visit Panther Central or the Drop-in Support Desk to have your card encoded::
     

Using Your Pitt ID Badge with uniFLOW

Prerequisite – You must have the newer (tap available) PITT ID badge for registration to work.

  1. Tap your ID badge on the reader usually located to the left or right of the control panel.
     
  2. If not registered, enter your uniFLOW PIN number when prompted. (Tap to open the keyboard inside the entry bar.)
     
  3. Once logged in, please verify your correct name is shown in the upper right of the screen.
  4. Press Log Out in the upper right of the screen.
  5. Then tap your badge again to confirm instant log in.

Always be sure to Log Off the device after using it.
